Corporate Governance is defined as the system through which companies are managed and controlled to contribute to the effectivity and performance of the organization. Some of corporate governance’s main goals are to ensure transparency; spread knowledge on how officers manage resources; provide conflict of interest-resolution instruments among the different groups which make up such governance; and to seek to achieve balance within the system.
