CUSTOMER SERVICE INFORMATION AND CLAIMS QUERIES REPORTING
Pursuant to Circular No. 2131 of November 28th, 2013, insurance companies, brokers and claims adjusters must receive, record and answer all requests, questions or complaints, submitted directly from the contractor, insured, beneficiaries or legitimate interested parties or their representatives.
The presentations can be made at any office of the entities that provides public attention, in person, by mail, electronically or by telephone, without formalities, in normal operation hours. Once a request, question or complaint is received, it shall be answered as soon as possible, not exceeding 20 working days from reception.
In case of disagreement regarding the information provided, or when there is unreasonable delay with response, the person concerned may appeal to the SVS, Investor and Insured Protection Area, whose offices are located at Av. Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins 1449, First floor, Santiago, or through the website www.svs.cl.
